Last week we welcomed five enthusiastic Summa Engineering students at Bakker Magnetics for an inspiring career exploration day. During this visit they got a better view of our organization and the different functions. The students also got a unique insight into our technology and the various applications of magnetism within our company.
From engineering to production
Our passionate colleagues Maarten de Jonge (Sales Engineer), Igor Fernando Rodrigues (Mechanical Engineer) and Clim van der Velden (Lead Engineer) shared their knowledge about innovative magnet solutions and showed how we work daily on high-quality assemblies for various industries. From engineering to production – the students saw up close how theory is put into practice.
The tour of the company was appreciated. Rob Bercx (manager QESH) concluded with information about how quality, environment, health and safety play a crucial role through all layers of the organization. The students got an overall picture of Bakker Magnetics, its operations, workplaces and working atmosphere.
We received nice and valuable feedback from the students and look back on a successful day.
