Bakker Magnetics has been the proud sponsor of the Top Dutch Solar Racing team. In close corporation with students of the Groningen University we developed the high performance hallbach rotor for the electric engine of their solar car.
The team participated with their self-built car in the World Solar Challenge in Australia on 13-20 October. They successfully completed the 3000 km long race from Darwin to Adelaide and finished as the best Dutch team in a deserving 4th place.
